'Still Crazy After All These Years' - 20 years of live music in mettmann volume one.

This is a collection of live recordings from Mettmann and Solingen in Germany made between 1984 and 2004.

It has been released to celebrate 20 years of live music promotion in the area by Wolfgang Pieker. The tracks are excellent quality live recordings by Fritz Kappner who is one of my favourite concert engineers to work with.

The artists include; Dave Kelly, Jo Ann Kelly (the CD is dedicated to her memory), Ray Wylie Hubbard, Richard Dobson and Scottish musical legend Tam White.

I have three songs on the album ...

'Candyman's Last Night (Coming Home)' is a solo version.

'Bruce Channel in this Town' is with the fine Jim Hunter Band from Scotland.

'The Weight' is myself and Ronny Elliott with the Jim Hunter Band, trading verses and harmonies on Robbie Robertson's classic song during a riotous Halloween gig in 1999. This was actually the occasion of Ronny and I first meeting.

Ronny celebrated the evening in 'Halloween in Germany' on his 'Magneto' album.
